Location right across from the cathedral was unbeatable and being steps away from bars and restaurants was a huge plus. Loved the fresh decor and the convenience of self-check-in.
lacked air conditioning in the room.

Possibly the best and fine stay for a long vacation. Functional and brand-new unit with bathroom, extremely friendly staff. Perfect and magnificent location located in relation to central tourist area in a lively area. Easy walk to Groenplaats Antwerp.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

Not much - the area it was in was nice and full of quaint bars, and a very large and beautiful cathedral
Yes, I hated the breakfast experience, I did not appreciate the lack of help with luggage, my room had no table, and was decorated in a very basic and rather sad way. I generally did not feel this hotel had anything to recommend it - despite being in a beautiful old building, which could be fantastic

Charming hotel with friendly reception staff.
I was shocked by the noise from the pipes. The cleanliness of the room was disappointing, with dust and dirty floors. The lack of proper insulation led to constant disruptions from footfalls above, rendering relaxation impossible. To top it off, the absence of basic amenities such as a kettle and glasses.

Eigentlich nichts. Hotel Personal war gut, hilfsbereit.
When you book your hotel, you are sure you get the room you saw in the photos. This was no way the case with me. They offered me a half devastated room as the only option. And I took it as it was still better as sleeping in the park. maybe things will become better after the reovation. The bottomline: Before you book, make sure you are aware of what room you'll get.

I liked everything, even the room.
I quoted the comfort as poor because there was no door for the bathroom!!!!!! Otherwise the room would have had two thumbs up!

Location and view from window was superb. Handy for restaurants and sight seeing come street strolling.
Our arrival was marred by the owner's refusal for some time to actually acknowledge our standing in reception as she continued to chat to several other people coming and going. The room was very basic and in a newer part of the hotel meaning we had to climb a precarious dark staircase some considerable way. At night the light does not stay on long enough and you feel abandoned in an abyss. The entrance to our room was off the street and not in the actual hotel. Felt a little warehousey at street level and then through a small door leading to this awful staircase. Not great for climbing if you are carrying anything or have any form of disability.

Hotel is located in several, now connected, very old houses in the city centre, facing the cathedral. Renovated, so yet having the basic comfort, including free internet for our laptop. Nice brandnew breakfastroom/ lounge/ bar , built in the little old courtyard.Nicely decorated. Small steep staircases though, as it was a few centuries ago. Very pretty alltogether.
All good if you know what to expect.

Amazingly situated just near the cathedral in the very centre o the city. A bit noisy as many people spedn the evening on the square. But you can just close the window. Excellent breakfast.

The location near the Cathedral is fantastic. It made exploring the city super convenient. Rooms had a charming decor. Enjoyed the cleanliness. Everything felt fresh and cute. The breakfast selection left room for improvement. Limited choices available. The stairs were quite steep. There was some noise from street activity at night, which could be disruptive. Staff were friendly but communication could have been smoother during check-in. A kettle in the room would have been a nice addition for making tea or coffee. Would recommend for the charming vibe and excellent location but be ready for some minor inconveniences.

Situated in the heart of Antwerp for a reasonable price.

We've stayed before and it was good to see the investment and improvements in the hotel like the new dining room and reception
Last time I stayed breakfast was included and I had assumed it was the same this time. So I was a bit disappointed to be charged and extra 40 euros for our breakfasts. This changed my view of the value from "good" to "fair", especially as the other hotel I booked at the same time for the day later in Brussels charged the same including breakfast.
